Yes, I love being able to one shot virtually every mage in the game while not worrying about friendly fire. Absolutely worth it. Mages are the most dangerous enemies, removing them is a priority. I would put Mana Clash into the top three spells. Definitely useful when you have to go back to the Circle Tower.

Judging Dragon Age: Origins in terms of pure image quality, the PS3 version is the console version to have. Xbox 360 claws back some IQ points though, thanks to its inclusion of 2x multi-sampling

This fixed my no launch issue and the game now works just fine and with all of my original mods collected over the years. See here for discussion and link (s) to the modified .exe file which will replace your original game startup file (make a backup of the original).
origin gave away the base game a few weeks ago. steam usually sells the ultimate edition for $5 every few months. play the ultimate one of course, if you don't have the ultimate version, i would say play on origin. why? you get logged in to origin anyway when you launch through steam so you have 2 drms going. might as well make it only 1 drm.
Chris Nov 24, 2022 @ 11:39am. Do NOT buy Dragon Age Games on Steam. DA:O does NOT work. In fact nor does DA:I. Crashes constantly. Investigate this and you will find that the Steam version simply does not work and there are major issues with it. Stop selling games that require us to jump through hoops to fix them.
