The game and how the driving physics was made (for trucks), it's simple not made to drive faster than, at top, 100 km/h without having major issues. As been said, this is a trucking game, not a car (or truck-) racing game. Of course, you are free to do whatever you want, WITHIN the hardcoded limit.
Can you fall asleep in Euro Truck Simulator 2? Unfortunately you have to either go to a rest stop off the highway or any one of the areas in a city with a blue bed symbol (hotels, repair shops, etc). Once you pull in, it should say "press e to turn off engine" then once you do, it will say "press enter to sleep".
Guys, I have a really big problem and i m begging for your help. I played fast deliveries to make lvl 16 and get my own truck, i got it, 750hp, and when i started playing, it s not going above 90km/h. With Fast deliveries i had even 150km/h, i don t have the speed limit on, it s somehow deactivated, i cant turn it on or off, what can I do, please help me
Just open C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. Open 'config.cfg' with a Text Editor, search for the line "uset g_use_speed_limiter" and make sure to put a "0" next to it.
Speed limiter off for me. I usually set CC on 90 km/h but when I overtake someone I drive about 90-110 km/h. B-7. I play with the speed limiter off, but always obey the truck road rules. It changes the default speed limits set for each state by C2C, meaning the game will no longer revert back to a lesser speed than is otherwise signposted. Place my mod above the increased road speed limit mod and place both mods above all maps in your load order. This file has been verified and is safe to download.
