Welcome to the Forum, Please Read | Ford Kuga Owners Club Forums. Ford change kept changing their minds on service schedules between 12 months and 12,500 miles or 24 months and 18,000 miles. I would always ignore 24 months irrespective of what the manufacturer says and stick to 12 months.
My Mondeo 2.0 TDCi has a 24 month, 18,000 mile service interval. For reasons unknown it was serviced by a Ford dealership after 12 months. The car is now almost two years old and I'm getting a 'Change engine oil soon' message. The manual suggests that this message pops up when there is 10% life left in the oil.
